SJH will be holding a Recycling Rally Poster Contest for all students. Students can create a poster that encourages people to recycle and also explains the importance of recycling. Posters need to be turned into your Science teacher by January 20th. There will be one winner per grade level. Don't forget to bring in your recyclables the week of January 23-27.
On Saturday, January 14th Seale will host the Junior High UIL competition. We want to wish all of our students competing good luck!
Just a reminder that there will be no school from December 22-January 4. Students resume back to regular school schedule on Thursday, January 5th. We wish everyone a safe an relaxing Holiday.
Elyanna Vela and Nathan Cantu were the winners from our December Recycle Rally contest.
Seale students brought in approximately 1152 recyclable containers in December. This puts Seale at approximately 3256 collected containers which is equivalent to 185 pounds. The effort of our students have conserved over 34 gallons of gas and averted greenhouse gases at a level of 5 medium sized trees for 10 years.
Seale Junior High is ranked 125 out of 1802 participating schools in the nation and 29th out of 224 participating schools in the state.
