Monica Zapata holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University Kingsville. She is certified in Physical Education (Pre-K through 12), ESL Supplemental (Pre-K through 12), and English Language Arts and Reading (grades 8-12). With over 20 years of experience, Monica is currently an 8th-grade Reading Language Arts teacher, including one Honors class, at Seale Junior High, where she also sponsors The Book Club. She is passionate about fostering literacy and inspiring students to become avid readers through engaging books and meaningful academic relationships.
