Valerie Guerrero DeLeon is a passionate educator and a proud first-generation college graduate. She attended Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where she excelled academically, graduating summa cum laude. She currently holds two degrees: an Associate of Applied Science in Teaching Math (7-12) and a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Math (4-8).

Valerie's commitment to her community extends beyond the classroom. She actively volunteers with 4H and FFA, supporting two of the largest clubs in her county. Her dedication to youth development reflects her belief in fostering growth and leadership in the next generation.

Valerie’s teaching philosophy centers on the process of learning. She encourages her students to embrace each learning opportunity with the understanding that striving for excellence is more important than perfection. By creating a supportive environment, she empowers her students to engage fully in their education, cultivating a mindset that prioritizes effort and resilience.
