Roxanne Bruce-Beltran serves as the Instructional Coach for Seale Junior High. She holds a Bachelor of Science in English, with a minor in Writing, and a Master of Science in English, with an emphasis in Education, both from Texas A&M University Kingsville. Additionally, she is certified by the state of Texas to teach English Language Arts and Reading for Grades 7-12.
Her passion for education, particularly in language arts, is evident, with a deep affinity for writing/composition instruction. Roxanne aligns with George Orwell's belief that effective writing leads to clear thinking, adopting her own philosophy that "Writing isn’t just a skill, it’s a way of life." She wholeheartedly believes every student has the potential to become both a writer and critical thinker, as storytelling is an innate human ability.
During her time at TAMUK, Roxanne joined Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society. After transitioning into education through the ACP program, she became a member of the Texas Association for Literacy Education (TALE) in 2017 and has continued that affiliation. Over the years, her involvement with these organizations, coupled with her commitment to lifelong learning, has given her opportunities to present at various professional development sessions and symposiums.
Roxanne's professional goal is to continue sharing her knowledge, skills, and experience with students and colleagues at Robstown ISD for many years to come.
