Miguel Cabrera is an accomplished music educator with a passion for nurturing young talent. He graduated from Robstown High School in 2000 and earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music from the University of Texas at Austin. Currently, Miguel serves as the Head Band Director at Seale Junior High School, where his dedication to student success was recognized when he was named the Seale Junior High School Teacher of the Year and the Robstown ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year in 2023.

Certified in music at all levels, Miguel is also an active UIL Judge for band competitions across Texas and coaches the UIL Music Memory team, fostering a love of music in his students. Through his commitment and expertise, he continues to inspire the next generation of musicians.
